If the technology is so improved and everything can be worked out with the computer why is a bilged hull to expensive for many budgets? Many people do like the bilged hulls much better but they are put off by the price.

The shipyard costs are not only the hull but also in the finishings.
Of course is a bilged hull more work but this does not outweigh the design and sailing characteristics that result more beautiful and better. The costs for the finishing built in installations and fittings remain nearly the same.

The Beisterveld Stevenvlet is a bilged hull with a flared bow built using proven methodology which looks sleek with a strait line and a moderate camber. The Beisterveld Stevenvlet is built as costum-built in a module form. The hull will be built and the costumer decides how he likes the finishings.
